Good afternoon Westside Family, your JROTC cougar battalion will be conducting its Annual Service Learning Project. In previous years, the Cougar Battalion JROTC has provided Sojourner Truth House with coats for needed families in Gary, Indiana. Sojourner Truth House is a ministry of hope and help for homeless and at-risk women. This year JROTC will provide Sojourner Truth House with personal hygiene & feminine items. We are asking that Math & English teaching classrooms become collection points by students placing donations items in collection boxes provided by JROTC. A JROTC representative will empty the box daily. The date of turn in for our donation drive will be 11-15 December 2017.
